This article will help you setup your booking form on your WordPress Website. First of all, you will need to place a booking form with the design of your preference on your homepage. You are not limited in terms of design and visuals.
In order to have the best user experience possible, you will need to make sure you include on this form all the fields that are necessary on Step 1 – Dates of your reservation process. It is also required that each field is labeled as follows:
- Pickup Location -> pick_up_location
- Return Location -> return_location
- Pickup date -> pick_up_date
- Return date -> return_date
- Pickup Time -> pick_up_time (If applicable)
- Return Time -> pick_up_time (If applicable)
The form must also have the following attributes:
- Method – this must be set as type “POST”
- Action – this must be equal to the URL of the page where the shortcode of the booking engine (iFrame) was placed.
You may now proceed to verify the following that the date formats are set up correctly in the HQ plugin settings options. Please select the one that applies accordingly

In order to verify the booking form was integrated successfully, you will need to test it by making a reservation from it. Once you fill out the fields on the form, select the button that prompts to the next step, for example, “Next”. If you are taken to step 2 – Cars, after selecting “Next”, then the integration has been successfully completed.
