9.3 Bookings Dashboard

This bookings dashboard tab tells you an overview of your company financial details for a certain period of time.

You can change the period of time you would like to show with these 2 steps:

  • Click the date on the top right corner of the screen as shown in the picture below, highlighted in orange.

  • Next, when the dates appear, select the period of time that you wish to show and click the green “Apply” button. The system also has some default time periods for you to choose from.

Revenues

This number is the total amount that the company has made from bookings during the period of time.

Amount Paid

This number is the amount that your company has received from registered payments during the selected period of time.

Outstanding Balance

This number is the amount of money that your company has yet to receive from your customers during that period of time.

Reservation Average

This number is the amount of money on average that your company makes during that period of time.

Reservations

This number is the number of reservations that your company has made during that period of time.

Reservations on website

This number is the number of reservations that were made through the website that is integrated with the system during the period of time.

Reservations with Additional Charges

This number is the number of reservations in which the customer has requested for additional items that your company provides during that period of time.

Average Rental Days

This number is the average number of days that a customer rents a vehicle from your company during that period of time.

Bookings per Day

This pie chart tells you which day attracts the most customer during that period of time.

Bookings per Country

This pie chart tells you which country is most of your customers from, during that period of time.

Bookings

This shows you the number of reservations made over the period of time in the form of a graph.

Total Incomes

This shows you the total amount of revenues that your company has made over a period of time in the form of a graph.

Pie Charts and Line Graphics.

There are two types of graphs the pie charts that show the tally of Bookings per Day, Bookings per Country, Bookings per Status, and the line graphs that will show you the tally of the Reservations, and Global Income in that period of time.

Discount coupons

There is a discount table that will show you information related to the discount coupons you have given away to your clients.

Discount Coupon

This column will show the name of every discount coupon you have created.

Times Applied

This column will show the times each discount coupon has been used or applied by the clients.

Total amount

This column will show the total amount for each coupon and also the global amount of them.

By default, the dashboard takes the return date of the reservation as the dates for the intervals. This can be changed to the Pickup, Return, and Creation date as well. You will find the options to select filters for the reservations graphs and for the total incomes as well using the same options pickup, return, and creation date.

Firstly, navigate to Settings > Car Rental > Dashboard tab as highlighted in orange in the picture below.

Next, select the default filter that you would like to use. The three choices are Return Date, Pickup Date, and Creation Date as shown in the picture below.

Once you have selected, click on the blue “Save” button, highlighted in orange in the picture below to apply the changes.

What happens is that the system will now take the selected date filter for the dashboards when you apply the calendar range. For example, if you selected Pickup Date as the interval when you apply a range from 24th August to 24th September, the system will take all the reservations whose pickup dates are in that interval to be calculated.
