4.19 Maintenance Settings

This article is about the Maintenance Settings page lets you manage the settings that handle your fleet maintenance process. This page has 6 tabs which are Settings, Vehicle Form, and Repair Order Form, Vehicle Class Form, Damage Types, and Files.

Where can I find this page?

Firstly, navigate to Settings > Fleet > Maintenance highlighted in dark blue in the picture below.

 

Settings

This tab has 7 section. They include General Settings, Text Settings, Repair Orders, Maintenance, Maintenance Alerts, Vehicle Barcode Scanning, and Reports.

General Settings

This section lets you manage the overview of the maintenance settings. This is where you can change the icons for your vehicle in the event that you are not renting out cars. Here is also where you can set your automatic fuel calculations.

Text Settings

This section lets you manage some of the texts for the system and their translations. You can hover over the question mark tip for more information about the setting.

Repair Orders

This section lets you manage the settings for repair orders. Here is where you can set what repair order type gets created automatically.

Maintenance

This section lets you manage the maintenance settings. Here is where you can set the intervals for your maintenance either by distance or by time.

Maintenance Alerts

This section lets you manage the maintenance alert settings. Here is where you can set up the email body for the maintenance alerts and which users get notified as well.

Vehicle Barcode Scanning

This section lets you manage the vehicle barcode scanning settings. Here you can choose to enable or disable this option.

Reports (Work in Progress)

This section lets you manage the report’s settings for vehicles. Here is where you can set the fields that the system will use to calculate depreciation

 

Vehicle Form

This tab lets you add additional sections to your vehicle form. These additional sections that you add will appear when you add in a new vehicle. To learn how to add additional items to the form, follow this link here.

Repair Order Form

This tab lets you add additional sections to your repair order form. These additional sections that you add will appear when you create a new repair order. To learn how to add additional items to the form, follow this link here.

Vehicle Class Form

This tab lets you add additional sections to your vehicle class form. These additional sections that you add will appear when you create a new repair order. To learn how to add additional items to the form, follow this link here.

Damage Types

This tab lets you add additional items to the damage type that you can select on the damage map. To add in a new damage map, click on the blue “Add Row” button and when you are done, click on the blue “Save” button.

Files

This tab lets you manage the settings for the files in each vehicle. Here, you can add or remove folders to the list.
