This article is a step by step breakdown on how to prevent bookings during closed hours. In doing this, the system will not allow your customers to make a booking if the times they select do not fall under your location’s opening hours. There are two ways to prevent bookings, either by the location or globally. To learn how to prevent bookings by location, follow this link here.
Firstly, you would need to set up your fleet location’s opening hours. Navigate to Settings > Fleet > Fleet Locations as shown in the picture below highlighted in dark blue.
Next, click on the particular location that you want to set it up for.
Here, if there is no open hour block, click on the blue “Add New Open Hour Block” button highlighted in orange in the picture below.
Next, fill up the opening hours of your location in the example in the picture below.
Once you are done, click on the blue “Save” button to save the changes.
In this next step, navigate to Settings > Car Rental as shown in the picture below highlighted in dark blue.
Lastly, select “Yes” under “Prevent Bookings in Closed Locations Hours” as shown in the picture below highlighted in orange.
Remember to click on the blue “Save” button on the bottom of the page to save the changes.
Once you have done so, you will notice on your website, your customers will not be able to select a time that is not during your opening hours.
