This article is a step by step breakdown on how to set up rates per tour operator. To do so, first, you must enable your tour operators module, click here to learn how. Second, you must add your tour operators, click here to learn how.
First, you’ll need to enable rates per tour operator. Navigate to your Settings > Car Rental > Car rental settings > and scroll down to the Rates & Days Calculations section. Next, locate the Rates per tour operator button, and enable it by setting the option to Yes, as shown in the image below.
Next, scroll down, and click on the blue “Save” button at the end of the page to apply the changes.
Now you can setup your preferred rate structure for your tour operators based on the case that applies for you. The software allows to setup TO rates for three different cases as we will explain below:
1) A specific rate applies for your TO for a determined season and vehicle class
Navigate to your rates table located in your Settings > Car Rental > Rates. Add a new rate by clicking on the blue “Add Rate” button located in the upper right-hand corner. Once the new windows appear, fill out the the information, select the tour operator that applies, and press “Save” to apply the changes.
Once the new rate has been created, it will be displayed in your Rates tab, within your operator, as shown in the image below.
2) A specific rate applies for your TO for a certain vehicle class for all seasons
To set this up, first, click on any of your operators. Then scroll down to the fallback rates table, and select the rate this vehicle class will have, as shown in the picture below.
Next, click on the “Save” button to apply the changes.
3) A specific rate applies for your TO for all classes and seasons
To set this up, first head to the TO table and click on one of them. Next, on the fallback rate drop-down menu select the rate that you would like to be applicable, as shown in the image below.
Next, scroll down and click on the blue “Save” button at the end of the page to apply the changes.
