3.26 Reservation Statuses In The Calendar

This article is a step by step breakdown on how to include other reservation statuses on your calendar. By default, the three statuses that will show on the calendar are Open, Rental and Completed.

Step 1

Firstly, navigate to Settings > Car Rental highlighted in dark blue in the picture below.

Note: On the right side of the screen are the Reservation status and their respective colors in the system and in the calendar. To learn more about reservation statuses, click here.

 

Step 2

Next, navigate to the “Advanced” tab as seen in the picture below highlighted in orange.

 

Step 3

Next, navigate to the “Calendar” section. Here, under “Reservations Statuses to Include In Calendar”, select the statuses that you would want to include. These can be for example: Quote, Open, Rental, Completed, Cancelled, Cancelled Paid, No Show, No Show Paid, Pending, and Pending Reserved as shown in the picture below.

Step 4

Lastly, click on the blue “Save” button located on the bottom of the page as shown in the picture below.

 

In this example, we selected “Quote” so that is shows in the calendar as you can see in the picture below.

 

Change the Reservation Status Colors

You can change the status colors in the system and per Company Branch.

First, navigate to Settings > Car Rental > Advanced > Enable Custom Colors for Statuses per Company Branch > set to Yes

Once you enabled this feature, a new section titled “Reservation Status Colors” will be displayed. Here is where you can personalize the color per status and per branch.

When you click the drop-down button under the Color column, you can choose the color that you want to assign for that particular Status.

 

Red Alert on Overdue Reservations

By default, the system recognizes overdue reservations. These are reservations not returned on the set return date and time. It will display a red highlight on the specific vehicle unit that is overdue.

You can disable this feature on Settings > Car Rental > Advanced > Disable Red Alert on Overdue Reservations, as shown in the image below.

You can set this to “Yes” to disable this feature.
