This article will show you how to set different fuel types.
First, you need to Enable Fuel Types in Settings > under Fleet > Fleet settings > Enable fuel types. As shown in the picture below.
After enabling the option, you must refresh the page and you will find the new “Fuel types” tab, as shown in the image below.
You can add more rows by clicking “Add Row”, make sure you add the price per liter or gallon for the new fuel, set it up to “Active” and then click on the blue “Save” button as shown in the picture below.
Setup per Vehicle Type
You can assign Fuel Types per vehicle type. Navigate to Settings > under Fleet > Vehicle Type > navigate to Vehicle Type Overview.
Two new fields will be added in the Vehicle Type Overview – (1) Default Fuel Type and (2) Default Tank Size.
After filling up these fields, click “Save” to apply the changes.
Setup per Vehicle unit
You can assign Fuel Types per vehicle unit. Navigate to Dashboard homepage > under Fleet > Vehicles > select the vehicle > Fuel section.
A new section is added in the system named Fuel where you can set up these 2 new fields – (1) Default Fuel Type and (2) Default Tank Size.
