This article will show you how to set up and enable Multiple Languages in Public Booking Process. The very first thing to do is to add the languages you want the system support, you can navigate to Settings > under Supported Languages (multi-select field)
You can read more about Multiple Languages Setup.
Once languages are added to the supported list, a language drop-down will be available in the public booking process.
The system uses google translate’s API for the translation and certain translations may be wrong. If that happens, there are ways to review and configure the text translations.
Translations through Text Settings
Navigate to Settings > Car Rental > Text Settings
You can select the language you want to configure and enter the translation in the fields according to the label.
Translations through Maintenance Settings
Navigate to Settings > under Fleets > Maintenance > under Text section and Advance section
You can select the language you want to configure and enter the translation in the fields according to the label.
Translations through Vehicle Classes
Navigate to Settings > under Fleets > Vehicle Classes > select a vehicle class > under Website section
Translations through selecting Fields
Navigate to Settings > under Items > Fields > search the field using the search bar
For this example below, ‘name’ is searched and there are lots of fields show up. Take note of the ‘Item Type’ where the field is actually located. If you want to translate the ‘Name’ field in the contacts form (which is shown in Step 4 of the booking process), look for contacts in the item type to know that it is the particular field that you are looking for. Sometimes there are fields with the same label but located in different item types.
So once you know that you selected the correct field, click the label and a window shall pop up where you can select a language and change the label of that particular field.
